Dr. Stephen Grund, MD
Dr. Grund holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Iowa State University and his M.D. from Harvard University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Hematology, and Palliative Medicine. He has served Assistant Professorships at both Albany Medical College and the University of Connecticut. Most recently, Dr Grund was Medical Director of Oncology at Eviti of Philadelphia, a web-based decision-support company, providing peer-to-peer evaluation and consultation for non-standard patient care, requiring current detailed knowledge of all malignancies, including rare types.
Babatunde O. T. Thomas, M.D.
Associate Medical Director
Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Brown University and Tufts University School of Medicine. After residencies in Minnesota and Florida he has provided Emergency and Urgent Care, as well as Family Practice in Massachusetts, Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota.
Dr. Harvey Binder, MD
Chief of Pediatrics
Dr. Binder graduated from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics at Overlook Hospital, Summit, New Jersey and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Leslie Zide, DMD
Dr. Zide is returning to Caring Health for a third time, having served as a staff dentist from 1978-79 and as Dental Director from 1999-2005 when she was also Director of the Springfield Oral Health Access Project. In the interim she has been Dental Director of Harbor Health Services of Dorchester, Codman Square Community Health Center, and Regional Director for Kool Smiles out of Atlanta, Georgia. She has been on the Board of Directors of Delta Dental since 2005. Dr. Zide has also served academic appointments as Clinical Instructor at both Harvard and Tufts University Schools of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Tatiana Bendioukova, MD
Dr. Bendioukova is a board certified pediatrician who graduated first in her class from the State Medical University / Pediatrics in Russia. She did her residency at Metropolitan Hospital through New York Medical College Pediatric Residency Program. She is multilingual (Russian, English, and Spanish) after practicing in Kentucky and Lima, Peru.
Dr. Lucila Bruno, DMD
Dr. Bruno received her D.D.S. from Federal University of Ceara, Brazil where she tutored and did volunteer work with Operation Smile for children with facial malformations. After a year of general practice in Brazil she attended Boston University. Goldman School of Dental Medicine on scholarship where she received her Doctor of Science as well as a year of post-doctorate work in Oral Biology leading to a research associate position. She then attended New York University, College of Dentistry for a D.D.S. to enable her licensure in the U.S. She comes to Caring Health after two years of general practice in the Boston area.
Dr. Maria Silva Chuecos, MD
After Dr. Silva Chuecos received her medical degree from Central University of Venezuela she served as an emergency department physician in several clinics. She relocated to the US briefly as a clinical research assistant resulting in contributions to several publications on diabetes and neuroendocrine tumors. She did an externship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, FL, and her residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in West Palm Beach, FL. She did an elective rotation in cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Sheila Katherine Cleary, DO
Dr. Cleary received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in June 2000 from the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine and maintains Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatrics. She completed her residencies in Family Practice in affiliation with the University of Vermont College of Medicine and Dartmouth Medical School, and in Pediatrics with Tufts University School of Medicine. Recently, Dr Cleary has been a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics for Harvard Medical School.
Aisha Ellis, NP
Ms. Ellis received her BS and MS in Nursing from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals. She has broad-based experience providing direct nursing care and education to diverse, multilingual urban populations, focusing on underserved adults, women’s health, and at-risk youth
Cynthia Geronimo, NP
Ms. Geronimo received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Angeles University Foundation College of Medicine, Angeles City, Philippines. After her residency and eight years of clinical practice in the Philippines she relocated to the U.S. where she received her B.S. in nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and her M.S. in nursing from Charles Drew University of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Sharad Kothari, MD
Dr. Kothari received his medical degree from Dr. S.N. Medical College in Jodhpur, India and continued his studies at Staten Island University Hospital in Geriatrics. Pending licensure he was a research fellow in the Department of Nephrology at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New York, and research coordinator for the Department of Infectious Diseases of St. Michael’s Hospital, Newark, and the Department of Cardiology of Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York.
Melonie L. Kalnenieks, PA-C, ATC
Certified Physician Assistant
Ms.Kalnenieks is a graduate of Northeastern University and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Though her early career concentrated in Athletic Medicine with top college teams, she has academic practicum experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Women’s Health, General Surgery, and Psychiatry. She came to us with Medical Assistant and Physician Assistant experience with Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
Natalya Lukin, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Natalia Lukin received both her B.S. in Health Studies and her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Springfield College. She has done Clinical Rotations in a number of disciplines and offers many skills. She is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and Spanish.
Dr. Parvathi Nadimpalli, DMD
Dr. Nadimpalli received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Sri Siddhartha Dental College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and her DMD with honors from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Experienced in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Nadimpalli is often a child’s first dental care provider and feels responsible for making the dental office a safe and inviting place for a child.
Bonnie Paddleford MS, PA-C

Bonnie received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Springfield College, Springfield, MA. She did her clinical elective in HIV/Hep C medicine working in area hospitals, community health centers, Hampden County Jail and HIV outreach programs.
Dr. Vijay Patel, MD
Dr. Vijay Patel got his Medical Degree in Goa, India in 1982. Upon arrival in the U.S. he worked as a research assistant with Dr. J.S. Torday on Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome at the Prenatal Labs of Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He did his residency at Salem Hospital, Salem, MA. He has since been a Primary Care Physician at Northside Medical Center in Westfield, Hampden County Medical Group, and the Family Care Medical Center. Dr. Patel currently has hospital privileges at Noble Hospital, Western Massachusetts Hospital, Bay State Medical Center, and Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Ayesha Pardesi, DMD
Dr. Pardisi is a graduate of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine after majoring in Evolutionary and Ecological Biology at UCLA. She served her internships in California, and her Dental Externship in Pawtucket, RI. Dr. Pardesi has a demonstrated commitment to public service and oral health education.
Dr. Alicia Pointer, DO
Dr. Pointer is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, with a Certificate of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Certificate of Biomedical Sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has provided care in Ghana and Uganda as part of her training. Dr pointer is a current member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Nadia Rohrer, MSN, RN, FPN
Ms. Rohrer joins Caring Health Center alter graduating with honors from UMass Graduate School of Nursing on a Family Nurse Practitioner track. She had prior practicum experience with Newton-Wellesley Hospital and was an award winning senior research associate investigating mechanisms of drug abuse at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, in affiliation with Harvard Medical School. She also provided community services assessing unique health considerations as they relate to adoption and foster care, presenting results to other health professionals.
Dr. Jayne Rohrbacher, MD
Dr. Rohrbacher is a graduate with honors of Holy Cross College in Worcester, Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa. She received her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed her internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She joins us at Caring Health after extensive experience in a broad variety of medical venues, from emergency room care to group and solo practice in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Virginia, Maine, Minnesota, Washington, New Hampshire, New York, and Massachusetts.
Dr. Ghulam Sheraz
Dr. Sheraz received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Khybur College of Dentistry in Peshawar, Pakistan. He got his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, an affiliated school of Rutgers, where he served his residency. A former Dental Director of Kool Smiles in Holyoke, Dr. Sheraz brings to Caring Health many skills and an understanding of our area for both adult and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Rajitha Siddineni, MD
Dr. Siddineni earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, India. After three years experience as a General Internist at Sai Supriya Medical Center she relocated to the U.S. She served her residency in Family Medicine at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago, after which she was on staff as an urgent care physician/house physician at Roseland Community Hospital, also in Chicago.
